Thinking of jacking your difficult to remember mobile number?  Alex was on the Metallic Numbers site today and saw that 07999 555 555 and 07999 333 333 are both available for the whopping price of £3,250 each. 

Now and again I’ve been on ebay and seen gold/silver numbers like these and momentarily thought of getting one.  Expensive though, for what it is.  Still, I suppose it’s worth it if you want to write your number out for some hot chick. 

Although I thought I should do a straw poll and emailed a hot chick.

I’d think it was a joke.  And no hot guy would be giving me his number – I’d give him selective information and make him look for mine.  And if it is so easy, then why does he have to write it down?  And why is a simple number so coveted?  A representation of those who covet?
