Anonymous tip responses
Responses from me to some anonymous tipsters.
A lot of the tips sent in are clearly written when folk are drunk (“an I told em it was rubbish an (someone) said I was a tw*t”).
Others appear highly accurate yet totally incendiary. I’m still not quite clear on what to do with those. Do I don a private investigator’s trenchcoat and go and verify the content of the tip prior to publishing?
Other times I feel I’d like to reply to the messages sent in via the anonymous form – it was only this morning when I got Charlie’s message that I was motivated to do so. I added two more replies to some from last week also.
(I know it’s a bit cryptic so do ignore)
— Charlie: Standby, there’s an interview coming with that organisation – that’ll be the time to ask. But I agree, on reflection, I think that’s been my experience too.
Kev125: I agree but I can’t publish that – nor would I dare phoning them to ask!
Anon1mouse: I have tried every possible way of rephrasing that but it still gives the game away!
