Apple 'poised to own smartphone market'

I did have to smile at the last sentence on this post on Business Insider:

Cupertino seems poised to own the smartphone market.

Amazing. Amazing!

Serious people do read this kind of reporting and can be easily influenced by it.

The sentence is in reaction to the leaks, rumours and predictions about Apple announcing a cheaper iPhone targeted at PAYG markets.

I record this as a super, super example of the mainstream media uber-bias toward Apple. (e.g. Mobile = Apple, and maybe Android as a runner-up)

Simply astonishing.
