ARM gives Google phone a big hand at 3GSM

It looks like chip company arm is set to reveal its version of the Gphone, with a device based on Google’s Android platform at this year’s Mobile World Congress, Reuters is reporting. Unfortunately, the report is a bit scarce on all the other details, such as who’s going to actually going to supply the device. Meanwhile, Computerworld has talked to Google which says “There are a number of other companies that will be demonstrating Android on their hardware in various forms at Mobile World Congress.” No word on who they might be though.Roll on Mobile World Congress – it’ll be good to finally see Android in action and hear when we’ll be able to get our grubby mitts on one of the devices.
