Blue Whale gets new Facebook profile

If getting on Facebook is still the mobile equivalent of crack for you, then Blue Whale’s BlueWhaleMail push social networking product is hoping to make it a bit easier. The company, which provides software which aims to make desktop software a bit more mobile friendly, has updated its Facebook features.

Now BlueWhaleMail, which works with S60 and Sony Ericsson mobiles, will keep you up to date with friends’ status updates, wall posts and other bits and bobs and let you annoy them with a message or poke, all via push and without visiting the Facebook page.

As a next step, if Blue Whale can come up with a feature to stop people you don’t know trying to add you as a friend, that would be a really good next step.
