Bus texting service proves a hit in Wales

Nurses and students have been the quickest to take up a new texting service for bus times.

The Traveline.txt service celebrated its first birthday with a prize draw yesterday. In that year more than 22,000 messages have been sent to people who keyed in their bus-stop code to receive times of the next four buses due.

Very smart.  I could have used this on Thursday night in London.  I ended up walking from Holborn to Liverpool Street and not ONCE did a number 11 bus pass me.
