Cloudtrade Gives You 1GB Online, Share With Others
Cloudtrade has opened its new media-sharing service for consumers, and it’s looking like it will be a really popular option for most people. When you sign up for an account, you’re given 1GB of online storage for free, and the ability to easily upload your music, videos, and pictures to your ‘Cloud’. Once you’ve filled it up, you can easily share it with friends, or just access it by yourself on any other internet-connected device. The service is in open beta right now, so head on over to Cloudtrade.com to get setup with an account.
With 3G networks coming into maturity, it’s no surprise that we’re seeing an increase in services like Cloudtrade. Why bother with local storage when online storage is so much cheaper, safer, and nearly always available? Obviously we have a ways to go before we have complete ubiquitous online access, but we’re quite a bit closer than we were even just a few years ago.
