Comprehensive list of handset models - help?

SMS Text News reader Kevin caught me online this afternoon on Skype (my username is ewanjmacleod — add me!) and asked me if I had any idea where he could get a semi-up-to-date and comprehensive list of mobile handsets.

I started thinking. Hmm… I don’t *actually* know of a comprehensive source. I was about to suggest looking at the Expansys catalogue — or the like.

Do you have any suggestions for where Kevin could start?
