Cubic Telecom gets into bed with HostelWorld
I’ve long held that the best way for a mobile service provider to get to mainstream audiences is to partner, instead of building their own offerings. Which is what the Cubic Telecom chaps have done with MAXRoam today. They’ve inked a deal with Hostelworld, one of the planet’s largest providers of online reservations to the budget, independent and youth travel market. Hostelworld have, over the last 10 years, booked over 71m beds.
Pretty big then.
You can now buy a MAXRoam sim (branded as ‘TravelnRoam‘) from the Hostelworld store starting at 25 EURO. Good news. I trust the deal is productive for both parties.
And, by the way, the top hostel this month, by reviews?
It’s the Academy Hostel in Florence, Italy. (That’ll set you back $60 a night for a single room or $44 sharing in a mixed dorm.)
