Dodgeball still alive; now with shortcode
Previously, to interact with the service you had to SMS or email @dodgeball.com – a problematic process on some phones and networks. Now you can text 36343 (DODGE) to let your friends know your location.
I’ve been wondering what’s been going on with Dodgeball — in terms of news and gossip it all seemed to go quiet after the Google acquisition — at least that was my perception. There’s an interesting comment by a chap called Simon posted on the end of the above linked blog post:
I’m sorry but Dodgeball is really missing the train. Getting a shortcode now? They’ve should have got one long time ago and focused on product development. I haven’t seen any of that in the last 12 months. What have they been up to?
Well there’s certainly lots of good looking people listed on the Dodgeball frontpage and that’s always the right way to go in my opinion 😉
