Don’t move! You’ll jinx it! This looks like a tiny bit of innovation in the mobile world

It has been quite a while since I’ve seen anything in the mobile industry that’s caused me to want to write much. Just look at the latest S23 from Samsung. I actually thought it was an S22, I just couldn’t tell the difference.
So it’s quite nice to see this post from The Verge that highlights a tiny bit of original thinking and implementation on the Oppo Find N2 flip Android phone. Technically you can use the software on Samsung too.

Essentially you can use a third party app (Coverscreen OS) to really extend the use of the N2 (and other compatible phones) small screen.
I was really taken with the idea to be able to quickly knock out a T9 reply to someone from the folded screen. That, I like.
