Don't panic, I've had an Apicectomy

I don’t normally discuss bodily functions and the like on SMS Text News but I wanted to warn everyone that I’m due to meet in Dublin that, last weekend, I had an Apicectomy.

For the avoidance of doubt, that means I had a problem with my root canal a while ago and the dentist consultant chappy had to open up my left gum and take a hammer to the remaining root. At least, it felt like a hammer.

So, I now look like I’ve aged about 30 years on the left side of my face. It’s swollen up. Total arse.
