Expansys puts up price of N90
I thought I was seeing things. I’m not, as it turns out. I checked on my previous blog posts.
On the 3rd of May, I posted a note containing a screenshot of the Expansys price for the N90 as I was (and still am) thinking of buying one. Here is the screenshot from 3rd of May once again:
You see the N90 clearly marked at £389 including VAT.
Now, let’s fast forward 17 days and I visited the Expansys site once again this evening. Here’s what I found:
The SAME N90 is now £414 including VAT.
What’s going on? Why the £25 increase? Surely the price should be going the other way?

I’m not at all impressed at that. There must be some other explanation that I’m missing, surely they just didn’t whack the price up? Perhaps it’s down to availability. There were 19 in stock when I took my screenshot on May 3rd. There are now 1-5 in stock as of today so maybe they’ve just upped the price, which, let’s be clear, they’re welcome to do so.
