Filipinos can now query Church Mass schedules by text

The schedule of Masses or services of your respective Churches located in Cebu City is now available through the Mass Sked Text Service, which the city government and Globe Telecommunications launched the other day.

This text service is provided for Globe subscribers or users who would like to know the time of service or Mass of a particular Church and even a list of churches located in the city.

Mayor Tomas Osmeña said the project is “part of my crazy invention” for people who don’t have much time to go to church and check the schedule of their church services. “This will make our lifestyle in Cebu City a bit better,” he said.
