Flexta text-enables Gogoblin's wish list service

Picture 11I had a note in from Stephen Jones, top guy at mobile business enabler, Flexta, letting me know that they’ve been selected to provide the text services for GoGoblin.co.uk.

If you’ve got children, you should know about GoGoblin. Or, if you’re like me and currently without little Ewans running around, GoGoblin is a free and secure wish list service for children.

Here’s how the text service works:

By simply texting ‘about wishes and their ‘email address’ to 60066, parents can receive details of how to win a Nintendo DS (note: SMS charged at standard rates), by completing a survey, direct to their mobile phone and email address.

Stephen Jones, MD of Flexta.co.uk said, ‘In selecting our SMS marketing technologies, gogoblin is offering parents a simple, convenient, and safe method of communication.”

Jane Manson, Director of gogoblin adds, ‘In using SMS, we’re offering parents a unique method of winning an incredible prize for their children.”

The gogoblin.co.uk competition is being advertised online, and through a series of adverts in the Hertfordshire edition of the Primary Times.

Good stuff!
