Go Mobile Malta launches text exchange rate conversion for Euro / Maltese Lira

Go mobile has proactively set up a system whereby mobile subscribers of any operator can get the EUR equivalent of any Lm denomination by sending an SMS to 79012008

.This service is very easy to use. Mobile subscribers just have to send an SMS to 79012008 with the numeric figure only and this will be converted to EUR by a return SMS. (For example Lm12.64 should be sent as 1264). The service is instantaneous and most of all, accurate.

That’s pretty neat. I wonder if something like that exists in the UK for converting currencies? Anyone know?
