Google focuses on London for mobile growth

Link: Google to focus on London for next phase of growth – Markets – Times Online.

LONDON is to become the centre of operations for Google’s next big phase of growth as the internet search engine company focuses its efforts on mobile phones, wireless laptops and personal digital assistants to increase its already massive user base.

I’m looking forward to seeing what they come up with.

Now, I think this paragraph near the end is questionnable:

Mr Nishar added that China also presents a massive untapped market. ‘In
China there are 3.6 million mobile-phone users, but very few homes have
a PC.”

That has to me a misquote or a typo.  There are 400 million+ mobile users in China!
