Holmes Place and bad mobile marketing
I keep on having to walk by this excruciating eyesore since I moved into my new offices at Liverpool Street.
It’s a total arse because every time I see it, I’m reminded of just how bad companies are at using the medium.
If you recall, I posted about this a little while ago here. Whenever I see a mobile service, I generally try and use it — particularly something as straight forward as a gym opening.
I was curious to see if they responded by text or if their mobile marketing people had integrated a wap or mobile site filled with nice, size optimised pictures of the new gym, prices, information and what not. That would be excellent to behold. Either way I tested it out…. and got no response. Nothing. Nada.
I was expecting to get a text reply of some sort. Gahhhh. Really annoying.
