I'm compiling the World Travel Market Mobile Focus Report

Do you know anyone doing anything cool or exciting in the field of mobile travel?

Can you point them my way?

I’m compiling the Mobile Focus report for the team behind World Travel Market, one of the biggest travel exhibitions on the planet. It attracts well over 50,000 travel industry executives to Excel for most of the first week of November.

I’m looking for companies and individuals to submit their ‘mobile focus’ case studies that I will include within the report. This is an absolutely *FABULOUS* opportunity to get your (non commercial!) message across about your mobile related travel activities. It’s perfectly fine for PR professionals to get stuck into this too — the only mandate is that the case studies must not be overly commercial.

The report will be distributed free to the event attendees and 100k travel executives.

Here are the details:

The report will comprise an array of commentaries, case studies and showcases highlighting the phenomenal change being wrought by mobile across the travel industry.

Edited by Ewan MacLeod of Mobile Industry Review with contributions from leading mobile and travel bloggers, the report is due for publication just before WTM 2012 in November.

The report will be distributed to approximately 100,000 of the world’s senior travel executives.

For the first time ever, mobile and travel technology suppliers, app developers, operators and device manufacturers are invited to contribute their own case studies for inclusion within the report. In particular, contributions are sought in the following areas:

Travel m-commerce services
Hospitality & transport
Travel guides
Travel technology innovation (e.g. translation, augmented reality)
Social networking
Navigation / location
Price plan / SIM / network technologies
Travel technology accessories

Contributions must be limited to 750 words and their primary purpose must be to educate and inform readers about a particular issue or segment of the mobile travel industry. Contributions are invited from any company, individual or organization with an interest in the mobile travel technology sector. Product mentions along with URLs are encouraged, however these must be referenced sensibly. The editor reserves the right to remove, edit or reject overtly commercial contributions.

Interested in contributing? Give us a 50 word overview of what you’re thinking of contributing and our editorial team will be in-touch right-away.

To be considered, all you need to do is send me a 50 word overview via the form on WTM’s site — this is better than email as it helps me (and the WTM team) keep on top of everything.

If you’ve any questions, please drop me a note — ewan@mobileindustryreview.com.

And don’t worry — the form says the closing date is end of September. I’m just a bit behind so please do get submitting.
