Janet Jackson cites camera phones as a growing nuisance

I was listening to the Scott Mills Daily podcast this evening.  (Scott Mills is a radio DJ who runs the late afternoon slot on BBC Radio 1, one of the country’s biggest non-commercial radio stations — an audience of millions).

Scott was interviewing Janet Jackson and asking her a whole range of questions — when he brought up the issue of weight.  She discussed the background behind the various press reports of her weight gain.  Scott asked if she was constantly surrounded by paparazzi taking photographs at every opportunity. Yes was the answer — however, interestingly, Janet mentioned that people are now using their camera phones to capture her. 

Turns out that even DJ Scott has been ‘mopapped’ by an enterprising fan who recognised him pushing his trolley in the airport and wanted to claim her £200 from Heat magazine 😉
