Last.fm walks away with $280m from CBS

CBS said Wednesday that it had acquired Last.fm, the online music service that allows fans with similar tastes to connect, for $280 million.
Not strictly a mobile story per se, but I’m a huge fan of Last.fm and have been a paying subscriber for two years now. I’m delighted for the team!
