This looks rather cool.

I have to say, it’d be rather neat to buy tickets via text message. You know when you absolutely, positively, reeeeeeelly want tickets for something? You want the tickets, not the crap — you don’t care for fancy webpages or ‘click here to skip intro’ graphics or any of that rubbish. You simply want to buy the tickets, there and then. Especially if you’re sat having a meal with friends and you get an alert through saying ‘Want some Snow Patrol tickets? Reply with the number of tickets..’ You can pose the question, get agreement and bish-bash-bosh, before you know it, be singing along to ‘Chasing Cars‘. And if TicketBean have developed a sufficiently compelling service, they could well be on to a winner. (I can’t check it out as I’m sat in Scotland right now).
