Napster vomits out a NapsterPhone years too late

The US’s largest mobile operator AT&T and handset maker Samsung are launching the first mobile phone to support Napster’s mobile music archive. The Samsung SGH-A747 SLM will sell from Nov 23 for USD150 and will allow users to sample tracks from its catalogue of more than 5m songs before buying them. Songs will cost USD1.99 each or USD7.49 for five per month

Limping music service, Napster, have finally, FINALLY recognised the value of a MOBILE presence — or they’ve managed to persuade Samsung to launch it. Deary me. YEARS after the iPhone and every mobile operator has launched their own music service, here comes Napster. Deary, deary me.
