A new-age film on the modern generation has been filmed by a journalist working for leading publication, The Times of India, Sundeep Malani.
A Hinglish film titled SMS 6260, it is slated for a February 2007 release.
Says Malani, “The concept, story, choreography and direction have all been done by me. SMS 6260 is about connecting friendship, about the new generation’s culture of talking through SMS (Short Message Service), call centres, pubs and discos. It revolves around the lives of six friends and how they deal with misunderstandings that sprout through SMS Messages. It focuses on their campus life with fun and frolic and moves on to their professional life, taking a serious turn. The film has been extensively shot in Mangalore and Bangalore in an one-month shooting schedule. I am planning to release the film on 14 February, Valentine’s Day.”
Oh very cool indeed. I like the concept and the sound of this a lot.
