Nokia N95 on the Ferris Wheel
So I’m back from the uber interesting Running with the Bulls festival in Pamplona, Spain. I was there, if you recall, for a friend’s Stag Weekend.
Despite having all sorts of data related issues, I was able to use quite a lot of devices and services and test them out — more on that soon.
My good friend Tom has just got himself a Nokia N95 on Vodafone so we were bosom buddies for the weekend, arsing around with the N95 features and getting very geeky sat beside gorgeous fountains on ye olde rustic looking plazas in sunny San Sebastian.
I have NO footage of bulls trying to gore me. I’ll explain all later, about that.
However, I did get on a very, very dodgy looking Ferris Wheel at one of the fairs with three of the stag weekend chaps — including Tom. Tom did a good job of smiling-yet-hating every moment, whilst the other two reeeeeelly didn’t like it. Didn’t stop us all screaming like girls when the wheel started moving alarmingly quickly. I was having a super time though. I’m the one screaming ‘WOOO HOOOOOO’ and now and again, courtesy of quite a lot of caffeine, you’ll see me pop into view (I did the videoing).
The Nokia N95 is, without doubt, one of the best possible handsets ever for documenting these types of experiences. It is simply phenomenal quality video in the context of being a small, functional mobile handset and was extremely useful across the weekend. Tom has got some absolutely hilarious footage on his N95 which, sadly, is unpublishable.
