Nott Tuesday is tomorrow night and I'm there

I’m heading up to Nottingham tomorrow evening and I’m looking forward to it.

If you haven’t come across it before, it’s a new networking event aimed at connecting the tech industry from the Nottingham area.

For those reading from abroad, Nottinham is *the* Nottingham. The the spiritual home of Robin Hood, Maid Marian and the dastardly Sheriff of Nottingham.

It’s also the home of messaging giant, Esendex and their co-founder Adam Bird. Adam is the chap behind Nott Tuesday — and since I had sufficient warning to book tickets and so on, I Tweeted him and said I’d be delighted to come along.

Adam then very kindly asked if I’d come along and give a little bit of a talk. So I’m speaking on the subject of GETTING YOUR MESSAGE HEARD. I’m thinking blogging, I’m thinking Twitter, I’m thinking personal brand vs company brand. I’m thinking connecting to and finding others in your niche industry. I’m thinking reactive vs proactive communications. And I’m going to structure that into a veritable mind-dump. Without slides, I might add.

If you live in and around Nottingham — and you work in the tech industry — or you have an interest around it — you’d be most welcome to come along.

The event is at The Cape Bar, 23 Victoria Street, NG1, 2EW.

Indeed here’s the summary post on the subject from the Nott Tuesday blog:
