Opera sings praises of Mini mobile browser

Opera has unveiled its Mini browser, promising that the application will enable faster surfing on mobile phones. The application reroutes internet traffic to a special service that compresses the data and strips the website down to fit a mobile screen. This results in faster downloads and lower mobile data usage bills, according to Opera.
