Philippines DTI to help confirm validity of promotions

Local residents may now verify the validity of any sales promotion employed by various business establishments by just logging online or sending an inquiry through a mobile phone’s text message, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) said.

This is a cool service — as long as companies sign up to notify the DTI of what they’re up to!
