Reader question: SMS vendor installed base?

Hi Ewan,

Do you know of any databases that track which SMSC vendor is installed in specific operators? Thanks. Also, is there a comprehensive list of SMSC vendors – it seems like a lot of companies have SMS messaging solutions without having a true standard’s based SMSC.

Any ideas?
