Reporo to launch IM, text and picture messaging services in September

Got the high level results of the Reporo survey through by email this morning.  A few lucky Reporo customers won an ipod each!  Alas, I was not one of them 😉

I’m quite excited at the prospect of Reporo’s apparent new features coming soon. 

The text in the email reads thus:

Free Texting would be very popular with pay-as-you-go users.

Free picture messaging on Reporo appears to be a desirable feature, particularly as sending images via users’ current networks is so expensive.

There is a selection of users who leapt at the idea of having instant messenger on their mobiles!

Based on this feedback, we are working on making these features live in September this year.

Very interesting indeed.  The Reporo client is extremely well put together so I look forward to seeing the additions soon.
