Shure's music-phone-adaptor coming shortly

I knocked an email over to Paul at Shure UK to query what’s happening with Shure’s uber-wicked headphones and support for the rather annoying deep-bevel iPhone headphone jack.

Paul confirmed there’s a Shure MPA (‘music phone adaptor’) coming out at the same time as the iPhone in the UK — it’ll be in the Apple stores (good news) and it’ll also be in Carphone Warehouse shortly afterwards — retailing for around £40.

Excellent. I’ll have one of those.
