Limbo 41414 is a San Mateo text messaging entertainment company. Its first product is Limbo Auctions, which are SMS-based auctions. The twist here is that users win if they have the lowest, unique bid.

I’ve seen a similar service on a few of the UK satellite channels — very addictive and pretty lucrative if you can get a good audience. Limbo has a nice appealing brand and is one to watch. I wonder if they’ll shoot for a UK launch any time soon as I see they’ve just gone live in Canada.
