Siren launches Integrate vote management platform

I know and rate Oli Madgett, Siren’s Client Services Director, so I was interested to hear about their new service, Integrate, which has just been launched. Integrate does what it says on the tin. It aggregates viewer votes in real time via multiple mediums such as SMS, IVR and web, and crucially provides the producer with an easy to read running percentage total. Very smart. This is, I reckon, exactly what the producer needs. No screwing about with calculators. I hear that Sky One in particular are loving it.

The rather interesting point with Integrate is that voting lines no longer need to be closed early to count up votes via the different mediums. So the longer the lines stay open, the bigger the revenue opportunities — and the more excitement for the viewer as votes can now run right up to the wire! (Don’t underestimate the total arse for the production editors having to spend hours reconciling votes — which then impacts programme scheduling.)
