Storage for 2.8 million Nokia N95s ;-)
I’m working with a company at the moment in the North East of England in a town called Hartlepool. The company does fulfilment, customer contact (they’ve got a wickedly good team of call centre agents) and warehousing. They’ve got an 35,000 square feet of secure warehouse space which, my back-of-the-fag-packet calculations tells me, is enough to store about 2.8 million Nokia N95s.
I did the workings thus:
– 2 Nokia boxes to each square foot, right?
– Assume you pile 40 boxes on top of each other, correctly stored in pallets, and so on.
So 2 x N95s, x 40 x 35,000 sq ft = 2.8 million.
The point of this post, however, is to ask you if you know anyone who might like to make use of this warehouse facility. It’s more or less free at the moment so I’ve got lots of ideas about how it could be used.
