T-Mobile UK's online billing system really annoys me

So I’ve been in Spain running around will bulls, right? And i’ve used my T-Mobile account like no tomorrow. I wasn’t organised enough to sort out a proper solution — local sims and the like.

And I was failed… FAILED by Vodafone.Es who wouldn’t give me a USB Modem.

So I just used my UK T-Mobile account. Expensive, yes, but, it works. It *does* work and that’s what I need. No hassle.

Like paying a few quid extra for a hotel that’s got free, high speed broadband, I didn’t mind paying T-Mobile ridiculous 55p/min rates because, well, simplicity.

I’ve spent £150 over the last five days — mostly on data (muchas graseeeeeaasss Vodafone Espania) and on a few phone calls… plus I’ve just done a one hour conference call (£30ish).

So I logged into my T-Mobile account online and tried to pay £200.

Nope.

Not having it.

Due to fraud protection or goodness knows what other rubbish excuse, the MAXIMUM I could pay them was £77.

Fooking useless.

Why bother with an online billing system that won’t take my money?

Really, really, really winds me up.

So I need to remember to logon tomorrow, or the next day, or some other arbitrary day, to pay the outstanding balance because of their idiot policies.

Helpfully, Tom, sat next to me (fellow running-with-the-bulls amigo), suggested I transfer the £200 to them via my online bank account.

Yes. This is certainly a possibility.

I don’t know my T-Mobile ‘account’ number. I could probably find that online.

I could probably find the sortcode and all that jazz.

How annoying.
