Texting craze across North America

Generation Next loves to text. Using the tiny keys of a cell phone, young people are pecking out text messages by the billions.

"I’ve got friends, that’s all they do," says Chad Perkins, an 18-year-old high school student. "They text during class, during work and just about any other time they are awake."
