The best network for the iPhone in the UK: Orange
It’s official. After a good week-and-a-bit, it’s time to end the poll we’ve been running here on Mobile Industry Review.
The news that o2 lost their exclusivity on the iPhone is a big deal in the United Kingdom. A very big deal. So much so that the issue has definitely caught the normob (“normal mobile user”) attention, especially customers of Orange and Vodafone.
Orange are slated to begin offering the iPhone before Christmas, meanwhile apparently Vodafone will begin in the early new year.
So what, then, is the best network, according to the MIR audience, for the iPhone?
I thought everyone might go for Vodafone but I thought the real winner would be Orange, particularly since they announced it first.
It’s been cut-throat… but Orange pipped o2 to the post, in the MIR reader poll:
What d’ya think? Good news? Do you agree with the result?
