Transpera Mobilizing Break.com
Break.com has hooked up with video mobiliser Transpera to offer up ‘Send-To-Mobile’ and other sharing-oriented features on its comedy video site. As other video sites such as YouTube begin mobilizing their content, Break.com is keeping pace. The ‘mens entertainment channel’ serves up short videos to an estimated 18 million unique viewers every month, and will be using the deal with Transpera to also add the ability for users to rank videos and share them easily with friends.
Transpera also offers targeted ad insertion, which will help Break.com add a monetary value to its treasured young-male demographic. More and more major sites are going mobile, and these companies such as Transpira that help them break (no pun intended) into the mobile arena with a quality experience are going to be well-positioned in the future.
