TreasureMyText Helps You Save Your Messages

treasuremytext
Ever get an incredibly sweet text message from your significant other? What about an address or other important information? If not, then surely you must have at least one friend who believes it his duty to send you the occasional dirty joke to your handset. In any case, I’m sure that you have the occasional SMS that you’d like to save.

TreasureMyText.com has been around since 2003, allowing you to easily archive your SMS online, safely stored. All you need to do is forward the treasured SMS to the TreasureMyText number (note that it’s also a standard-rate, nothing premium here). It will then be stored online, privately, for your convenience.

They’re also revving up for a massive relaunch, with several cool new features in store. Currently the relaunched site is in an invite-only beta, with only a Netherlands number available, though UK and US numbers are coming soon. The new relaunch will feature user-customisable ‘Text Stream’ pages that function similar to Twitter. Users can also subscribe to their friends’ Text Streams to easily keep track and get updates. You can also email your archives to yourself, and an iPhone application is coming down the pipeline soon.

You can check out the beta site at beta.treasuremytext.com, and more importantly, the company has a blog, blog.treasuremytext.com. I think it’s awfully important that companies have blogs.
