Txtdomz.co.uk offers condoms-via-text ordering service

I first mentioned Txtdomz with this post way back in April. Seems like months ago. The news specifically referred to the service being offered to teenagers in the Birmingham area. I had a look at UK based Txtdomz.co.uk this evening and it seems that the service is (now?) available to absolutely anyone.

Really smart idea. They should do a deal with Repero as this is the sort of point-and-click service that might be a good fit.

Here’s how Txtdomz works:

1. Create a text message thus:

txtdomz1 YOURNAME DELIVERYADDRESS

e.g.

txtdomz1 Ewan MacLeod c/o Neo One 72 New Bond Street London W1S 1RR

I wonder if I should send some to my friends? 😉 Heh.. anyway….

2. Next, send the message to 87121

3. You get sent 3 billing messages in return (to the value of £3.5 — that’s the cost0

4. They send off 6 condoms — 2 ribbed, 2 natural, 2 flavoured — right away by first class post to you.

5. The condoms arrive in an unmarked jiffy bag.

In the spirit of encouraging entreprenurial activity, I’m about to send off an order.
