UK Radio Stations 'ripping customers off too'

Just caught this on the Channel4 News ‘Snowmail’ newsletter:

Benjamin Cohen, our technology man, has an extraordinary little scoop tonight which adds grist to the already over stuffed mill of the quiz telephone scandal. It now seems that radio stations may have been ripping customers off too – not telling them that if they text it will cost them £1.50 and that they are on a premium rate service.

The radio services are passing this on to Ictis, but try as we might, absolutely nobody at Ictis wants to speak to us – they have had a busy week.

Oh dear.

I’ve missed the report but I hope to try and find out more about what’s been going on.
