UK Train firm to issue phone tickets

Chiltern Railways, which operates from London through Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire to the West Midlands, plans to deliver tickets to mobile phones.
The new technology sends a barcode to a mobile phone via a text message, which passengers can then scan at the station ticket barrier.
Finally, something meaningful in terms of mobile ticketing in the United Kingdom. Although I’m not quite sure if this mobile barcode stuff is ever going to be up to standard. Can’t easily use it on the older Blackberries, for example.
