Vodafone is looking to appoint a new head of 360

I hear from reliable sources that Vodafone are hunting for a CEO — or big cheese — to oversee their social networking and applications platform, Vodafone 360.

I understand that they’re looking to position the ‘division’ independently — away from the interfering and entirely inept hands of the current executives. This is excellent news and one of the only ways that the talented Vodafone 360 team are going to be able to innovate properly.

They’re looking for an executive who can demonstrate a bit of entrepreneurial zeal too. This is also good news.

The new CEO will operate from Germany and should be a fan of regular travel and he/she should expect a fat salary in the region of at least a quarter of a million plus guaranteed bonus.

I trust they will find (or have already identified) someone good as I still have big hopes for the service.
