Vodafone News. But, I can't tell you about it.
Here’s the first few lines from today’s Vodafone press release, hot off the press from Tavistock Communications:
THIS PRESS RELEASE IS NOT AND MUST NOT, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, BE DISTRIBUTED OR MADE PUBLIC IN AUSTRALIA, CANADA, JAPAN OR SOUTH AFRICA. THE OFFER IS NOT BEING MADE TO PERSONS IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS OR ELSEWHERE WHERE THEIR PARTICIPATION REQUIRES FURTHER OFFER DOCUMENTS, FILINGS OR OTHER MEASURES IN ADDITION TO THOSE REQUIRED BY SWEDISH LAW.
Strange.
But I can see why. Legal issues and whatnot. It’s about Wayfinder. And that’s all it appears I can tell you.
By publishing on Mobile Industry Review, I would indirectly be making the release public in the above countries. First of all, I can’t control the distribution in today’s global climate. Our full feed is incorporated into hundreds of databases and repurposed on other sites. Some of which are in Australia, Canada and South Africa. And so on.
We’ve got readers from all those countries who regularly re-post or link to our stuff.
So.
Vodafone’s doing something with Wayfinder.
And thus ends the news.
