The Hindu Business Line : BSNL against ceiling on roaming tariff; wants to charge SMS
State-run telecom operator BSNL is against any new ceiling on national roaming tariffs as it wants the rates to be decided by market forces – a position that could upset TRAI’s proposal to reduce high national roaming rates through a composite
ceiling. The PSU also wants to charge an extra fee on outgoing SMS while roaming, as opposed to TRAI’s position to end premium charges for SMS sent using other networks.
Charge increases, reductions on special discounts during peak days, temporary delivery report deactivations… gahhhh. What’s going on!
