Where am I on the N95? Loving it, is where I am

Picture 13More quick first impressions.

It’s a handsome device. It really is. I’ve had it on the full day and the battery hasn’t moved from the full charge indicator yet. I think I’ve used maybe 50 mins talk time today.

It’s fast, too. Comparing it to my N73, the menus appear quicker, things happen quicker on the handset.

I like the big screen.

The camera appears to be phenomenally good — as does the video.

It’s made me thoroughly enjoy using a handset as apposed to the E61 now and again. I swapped between them most of the day.

It’s a pleasure to use.

I like talking on it.

The audio quality appears to be super.

The address book is nice and quick, even with my thousands of contacts.

I like the sliding bit. I like the consistency of the keypad.

Now, I haven’t played with the music. I won’t like the music. I just don’t. It’s nothing Nokia has done per se, it’s just I subscribe to the iTunes viewpoint. Make it work, end to end, like that — how the model in my mind functions — and we’ll be good. Until then……….. 😐

I have arsed around a little bit with the GPS. It’s not worked yet. I’ve been inside or in a speeding cab or train. I’m not expecting miracles — indeed, my expectations have been set.

I am really delighted with it as a handset though.
