WIN Plc expands into Greece and is live today

If you’ve been looking nervously at Greece over the past few years, wondering when their mobile industry would evolve a little to make it relevant for your services, now is the time to look again.

With mobile penetration approaching 140% and, roughly x3 more mobile traffic than any other European territory (so reports WIN Plc), the country represents an untapped market.

But, previously, it’s been quite an arse to work there. Subscription-based services, the jewel in the crown of many a mobile entrepreneur, were nigh-on-impossible to implement previously — because billing was always, always mobile originated (MO).
