Yes, you do need a £599,999 152" Plasma TV for the World Cup!

I was quickly browsing through the latest edition of the CostCo newsletter and wondered if I’d spotted a typo with this:

I clicked. I suspect almost everyone reading the newsletter clicked.

Sure enough, yeah… 152″ 4K2K display… “fully installed”:

It’s probably worth buying through the business to save the hundred grand’s worth of VAT, provided it’s a genuine business expense of course.

152 inches is equivalent to about 3.8 metres wide. That is big. Very big.

You, dear reader, deserve a Panasonic TH-152UX1W (to call it by it’s proper assignation).

Your corporate reception will look so much better with one of these.

I read through the detail on the product page and I’m sorry to report that these things are manufactured to order. You should expect a 5 month wait so… sorry, you can’t actually watch the World Cup live on it.

You do need a compulsory site visit first, though… but rest assured that and everything else you’ll need is included in the 600k…

Price includes Compulsory Site Survey, Site Installation Report, Specialist Logistics, Display Mounting and Installation (4 Men) and 5 Year Annual maintenance Site Visit. (Depending on specific requirements).

In the detail, the unit is apparently rated for 100,000 hours of use. So about 4,000 days or 11.4 years. That’s only £52k a year, or a very reasonable £4,385 a month 😉
