Got a MacBook on your desk? You need a Henge Dock!

It’s almost September, which means it feels about a billion days since the start of the year, when all of those resolutions about tidying up stuff are typically formulated. So why not get stuck into the final push ’til Christmas by sorting out the crap on your desk with a Henge Dock?

It’s a simple vertical stand for your MacBook that helps save a huge amount of desk space. Chances are, if you’ve bought a Mac, you probably some kind of appreciation for style, space and whatnot.

Plug in your laptop to the Henge Dock, then plug that dock into your machine and boom, you’re done. All your MacBook connections are enabled — from firewire to network to audio, and of course, power. Here’s a photo — you plug the laptop into this:

Very graceful.

I like the fact that this means I don’t have all sorts of leads all over the place. I really like the utilisation of desk space.

I’m considering purchasing one for myself… I think given the fact this makes things tidy, it will place highly on my wife’s approval rating.

Now then. Cost… Prices start at $59 (£36) for the 13-inch version.

Not bad at all.

Update: A few readers have asked if there’s been any user reviews of the units. I haven’t got any to share with you except to say that Adam Zeis, Editor of CrackBerry.com, has used one and loves it. Here’s his tweet feedback to this post.
