ShoZu soon to connect into blogs, CNN, BBC and allow two-way comments

ShoZu, the market’s smartest one-click image sharing solution for camera phones, today announced new features making it the first service to offer photo and video uploading to multiple personal blog and citizen photo-journalism sites such as Blogger, Typepad, WordPress, CNN, the BBC and Scoopt.
These and other new features, including the ability to exchange two-way messages about their images directly between their mobile phones and their community websites, will be available to consumers later this month.
This is very interesting.
Two way interaction, eh? Very cool.
I particularly like the ‘send to the BBC’ option too.
I’ve been using ShoZu on and off for a few days now — just downloaded the applet again … then I re-read the bit above that said ‘will be available later this month’ 😉 Heh.
I shall be waiting to try the features out. I think I will be a heavy user. You see, one thing that’s stopped me using ShoZu this morning was I wanted to *blog* the images — i.e. publish them with a headline and a body. The only way I can do this currently is by using the handset’s ’email’ function and then whacking the mail to flickr, which sorts it all out.
If ShoZu can take care of this, then bring it on. The other thing that’s going to help (me in particular) is the recent news that T-mobile Web ‘n’ Walk customers (of which I am one) now have ‘unlimited’ data allowance. So when the ShoZu application (sensibly) says ‘are you sure you want to upload 500k?’ I will be clicking YES and moving on! 😀
